Happy Friday! This week has flown by so it’s already time for part 2 of I went indie-biz Christmas shopping and I bought…
You can catch up on A to G (and find out what on earth I’m going on about!) here, but if you’re up to speed, let’s get on with H to N.
I went indie-biz Christmas shopping and I bought…
Heart earrings from Earrings by Daisy
I only discovered this brand new shop this week, and I am proud to say I was Laurie’s first Etsy sale! I bought a different pair from the ones pictured here, but these are 100% on my list.
Imperial Seamstress Gauge from Rocking Stitch
If you know, you know. This multi-functional little tool is absolutely amazing, and it’s available in both metric and imperial measurements!
Jewellery from Little Swift
Little Swift creates beautiful jewellery from repurposed and recycled materials. So many of their pieces, like these earrings, feed my obsession for Orla Kiely-inspired shapes and colours!
Knotted hairband from Adornments by Rosheen
Move over, Prada, Rosheen’s got the most beautiful handmade hairbands!!! I’ve also seen seamstresses have custom orders made using offcuts from garments they’ve made, so you can have a hairband made to match your outfit!
Labels from Pink Coat Club
She’s brought us badges, stickers, key chains and more, and now Joy’s only gone and made labels! I got myself some that I think all sewists can relate to: ‘Blood, sweat and tears’ and ‘This took ages’!
Mini macrame (double points!) plant pods from Cotton and Tree
How bloody cute are these! Cotton and Tree are macrame genius, making shapes I never knew possible.
Necklace from Rock Cakes
Rock Cakes sells jewellery to “Bling The Joy!”. I have this Hello necklace in pink and every single time I wear it I forget about it and wonder why so many people say hello to me as I’m going about my day! A proper conversation starter.
I hope you’re enjoying these posts and that they’ve pointed you in the direction of some new-to-you indie brands. Next week we’ve got O to U, which sounds a bit like a cheesy chat up line…
